Painkiller Jane news

The Terminator 2 / Painkeller Jane crossover is over and the question is what's next for Painkiller Jane ??? According to Dynamite forums:
  • Official word from Joe is that plans are being finalized for PKJ to return this summer.

I do hope that they mean 2008 summer and not 2009 summer ...

Painkiller Jane is an ongoing series

Right now, Painkiller Jane is in the middle of a crossover story with Terminator 2. In a recent interview, when asked what will hapen with the series after the end of the crossover, writer Jimmy Palmiotti said:
  • It’s an ongoing story and the events here are another chapter in Jane’s life. This is not a throw-away crossover. It takes place in real time with the series and I will continue the book for as long as the fans keep buying it.

Painkiller Jane

Painkiller Jane vol. 1
Good read and graphics although some of the action panels were still too dark. Dynamite has this tendency to print using darker shade. I'm looking forward to finding issue #1 of the 2nd volume so I'll be able to read the 2nd story arc.

Painkiller Jane vol.2 #0, 2-4
I don't have issue #1. Hopefully I'll find it in London or it'll turn up in the Forbidden Planet Back issues online shop.
Issue #4 is the 1st part of a Painkiller Jane / Terminator crossover. Should be interesting.
